Installation time on this project was a full day from start to finish, including installing external structural supports.

Everbright E610 Opal was installed, as a barrel vault roof in a residential property using Locking System 2.1(see design loads).
The clients brief was for a modern curved roof, that could free span the required distance and had excellent thermal properties.

The Opal coloured roofing panel was chosen to provide an outdoor entertaining environment with unequalled natural daylight. The Opal polycarbonate disperses in such a fragmented manner that shadows are not evident. The light dispersion is so good that even on a bright day the sun is not easily definable, thus creating the perfect ambience.E610 was selected for this outdoor area, and as a result it makes full use of all the natural light available. It is the only roofing panel available within Australia which was capable of achieving the visual effect, and it has surpassed all our clients expectations.

Due to this being a coastal application more polycarbonate fixings accessories were used, than would normally be required.
E610 was pre curved in the factory for this particular project and free spanned up to 7mtr, without requiring any intermediate supports.
Panels are pre assembled in 600mm configurations and in one complete length, therefore Installation is much quicker on site.
The area measured 7mtr Projection x 5.2mtr Wide.
